I promise this is the only post I'll make about this...although I may bump it once or twice...

I have a new Melodic Pop Rock project called WAKING JONAH. We're releasing a 3-song digital EP this month, and the lead-off track is streaming now on our MySpace page. It's called "Breaking Down" and, as it stands, is the ONLY unsigned/independent artist track on ARfm's A-List Rotation...

EDIT - We have now added a new song called "Stay With You [If You Let Me In]" July 7, 2008!

hey man ,, this is some really good stuff!! 20 years ago this cut would have gotten you a major label deal.. this flys.. and your vocals are perfect here..

there are 2 or so insane chord changes in this song...really makes it shine..

did you ever hear of a band called Teenage Fan Club?? i cant put my finger on it , but you have a cool sound that just reminds me of something ..

*edit.. we HATE EP's though.. :lol:

Your drummer riding on the crash cymbal seems to stand out too much for me during the chorus. He probably listened to too much Van Halen growing up. :wink:

Shawn,this is a very good song, i can here the modern aspects tied in with the old school melodic rock, your voice sounds great on this(to be honest i found the cymbals to be a little distracting,almost like they were too much in the mix) Otherwise i would want this song in my collection, can't wait to her the rest of it, even my pet squirrel liked it
