Shameless Plug

Summer is just around the corner and what better way to enjoy the season than with Shakespeare in the park.
Or more specifically (shameless plug alert!)
the Festival Theatre Ensemble's 2008 production of
"As You Like It"
featuring myself as Rosalind.
According to the FTE website;
"As You Like It follows an enchanting assortment of love struck wanderers as they weave their way through the Forest of Arden in a deliciously romantic, comic concoction of cross-dressing, courtiers, country folk, and a clown!"
We have been in rehearsing for a while now and if I do say so myself it looks to be an excellent show (if I could get my freakin' lines memorized [Rosalind is said to be the largest female character Shakespeare ever wrote, mainly cuz she is incapable of shutting up!!!:P])
The show opens and performs in Menlo Park on
June 7th, 8th, 15th and 28th at 8:00 pm.
All performances in Menlo Park are free (bring your own blankets!)!
A map to the location can be found here;
http://www.menloplayersguild.org/map.html
OR
You can see it in Los Gatos (where it's hecka warmer!) on
July 20th, 25th, August 2nd and 7th
Those tickets aren't free but the sight-lines are better and like I said, it's hecka warmer than Menlo.
All info about those performances can be found here;
http://www.festivaltheatreensemble.org
This will be a really awesome show!!! Rosalind is a character I've been wanting to play for a long time and I'm really excited about it!
If anyone is in the area and has any interest in summer Shakespeare, then I hope you have a chance to see it!
