I stumbled on this video After All These Years on YT. Whoever did this video, did an awesome job editing on the song. It's pretty cool...check it out.

Journey should host a contest for "make your own video" and post the entries on their site.

Other than a few mistakes with the words the video was beautiful.

Oh come on, it was due to Arnel's mispronunciation!

Goosebumps....If Journey promote this song very well, it's going to be a sure hit. At least fans on YT are giving them a good idea on how to promote a song. And Journey management/promoter can use these kind of idea on how to commercialize a song. On the other hand this song is good especially for weddings and anniversaries IMO.

That was sweet - especially the final images of the eldery couple...I still get chills on the back of my neck every time I hear this song.

wow, just breathtaking. Even made a big Gator like myself feel sentimental, especially since my wife, whos stood by me thru some serious shit for 17 years and are trying to find a way to keep building on our future even though the present gets in the way.....Alright, thats enough of that. Some of you may think Im lightening up....

Should I feel guilty that this is turning into one of my favourite Journey tracks in a long while?

My wife and I went to a Family Life Marriage Conference over the weekend and there were several couples that had been married for over 40 years and one or two over 50. The speaker who recognized them for their achievement said that new love is precious but old love is even more so.

Just a quik thot. On this song, I'd have made the lyric 'dixie highway' instead of 'gypsy highways'.
later~

Q-Tips would have been a more practical approach.

I'd be willing to bet that the husbands Dave mentioned ask themselves daily why God won't simply take them.

Gimme a break... Steve. You're intentionally being a brick. If you can't understand the words, it's YOU that has the problem. You sound like my Parents "Dang, this rock and roll music! I can't understand the words!" Why you continue to beat this drum is a mystery.
Don't be a DUMBASS!
There are times you say something halfway intelligent, and then you just say something ridiculous.

I'm at 29 years and the fissures heal over! Trust me on that one. Folks say, "How have you stayed married so long?". I say "We don't get a divorce!"

Love that response. And more truth than most can imagine. Marriage ain't easy but youhave to look at it as the long haul...in it to win it! I am at 12 years...lomger than my Mom thought it would last!!
