Thanks for the post! I haven't talked to Jeremey in a good while, and it was an interesting read. I wish him the best of luck in the future, and hope his surgery goes well!

Hey, maybe Friga and Fro aint that bad after all

I know most of us have ripped Friga and Fro several new ones over the past year plus but they could've easily tried to get away without giving Jeremey a writing credit on these new tunes. Good on them.

yeah, I was expecting that too. Still, it's early and I doubt J has seen any money yet. Let's hope they follow through. Jeremey, what's up with your voice that you're going to the voice center???

Maybe "SOME ( )" of the ripping was uniformed and unfounded.

Augeri will obviously have a posthumous (career-wise) credit for FITH like perry on Gens.

Really!!! It's been a good long while since those two have done something honorable!

For all we know, Jeremey had significant proof of creation and /or representation present when the writing sessions happened...and Friga and Fro couldn't get around not giving him credit, without exposing themselves legally.

While I'm not going to come out and say they would always try to do the underhanded thing all the time, their track record speaks for itself.

I strongly suspect that what governs who gets what, as far as the spoils of war....it really comes down to simply sitting down with all holders of the purse strings and making a careful determination of what they can get away with...and what they cant...most likely from a legal point of view (and maybe viewing it from a political/public relations one as well, but not often! )

Pretty much what I thought too..basically they don't need any more of that sort of attention drawn to themselves..
