So - being in Canada I can't order from Walmart.com - no sign of this on Walmart.ca and probably never will be. So I get an email from the Journey Store announcing this great pre-order deal. Turns out I can't order from there either, even though I have an account and have ordered (can't remember what, the Arrival DVD I think) something from them before. I get a response today - 'watch the site for announcements on when and if this will be available'.

Ya know - if they want to sell a few more copies of this they just might want to consider making it available to non-US residents. Aaarrggh!

I think they are still working on this because Argus was asking the Canucks if they could pre-order yet.

Not sure but would this problem have anything to do with a currency conversion problem. Not sure if your far into Canada but anywhere close to the American/Canadian boarder and you could maybe consider coming over just to get a copy some afternoon.

If not, I'm sure the album will be on e-bay soon after release and you could get it that way. I see recently released albums from Japan on e-bay constantly. The prices are a just a little bit higher compared to getting from stores but considering gas prices, it's probably worth the extra cost just to buy it and have it sent.

Ebay is a guarantee... Although I'm sure some sellers will try to get an arm and a leg for it right away.... Have a friend in the USA pick it up for you and send it as a GIFT

Maybe that's just pre-order? I am assuming it will show up in our Walmarts after June 6 too.

Actually I've already seen one on Ebay from someone in the UK - says it's a pre-order and will be shipping in early June - but the price I think was $40 CDN plus shipping

Could be! Correction - seller is in the US but they have the price listed as 19.99 GBP (which is approx $40 CDN right now). I think I'll wait a bit!

Their in the U.S. but are listing it in British Pounds? Wonderful! Are they doing that to hopefully catch someone off guard thinking it is $19.00 US. They then use paypall to get the item so the transaction is completely done by the time they realize it's actually 19 GBP/$40 CAD/$38 USD

I'm going to be in the US at the end of June. If you don't have one by then, let me know. Can't gaurantee I'll see a Walmart, I'm only there for 2 1/2 days and back to back shows. But I would like to get one too and can mail one, so let me know. The US/Canadian currency rate is pretty close to par lately.

LOL, I doubt it Rick.....probably not much time to even site see this time. Flying in friday and out sunday, and seeing 2 shows on the opposite ends of California in between.

Someone at the Journey site got an email from WalMart.ca that said the CD will be available in store June 6th.

Thanks for that info, good news! Now all we need here is a WalMart - 'guess I'll have to take a drive to the 'city' on June 6. Yup, not even a WalMart here - it was supposed to be built 3 years ago but all the small-town 'we have to preserve our heritage' do-gooders are fighting it. I just wanna shop for junk like I used to be able to!
