Well, not exactly killer, they are said to rarely attack humans, but still. That's just perfect, add big pythons to my general fear of bees. More reason to stay in doors.

I hope our great gator wins the fight. I can't stand snakes at all and the crazy people that let them go should be locked away.

THAT'S a palmetto bug?!?!?!?!
Living in SC and GA I used to hear talk of them all the time but never actually saw one.
Kinda glad I missed out on that! Blech!

Live in Arizona for awhile. Those fucking things become your tenants, esp. in summer.
Never ever been so scared and grossed out in my life.

The mosquitos here in FL are huge too, sound like small aircraft. Spiders the size of Volkswagons too.

I hate bugs. Live in the mountains a while, especially every seventh summer when the locusts invade. Ick.

I realized yesterday standing in the garage of my new house that the teeenie tiny spider hanging in front of me was the first spider I'd seen since I've moved to Illinois... much better than the clydesdale and wolf spiders that lived with me in Va.

Mosquitos here in Texas wear Adidas sweatsuits with Nike Air Jordans.

Ugh! We had a HUGE brown spider here at work not too long ago, I mean the diameter of a salad plate, hanging out in the waiting room, lol. Luckily no one was out there, one of my co-workers caught it in a ziploc bag of all things & was going to take it to this reptile place right down the road that has snakes & spiders, etc. Well before she could get it there, it exploded in the bag . Pretty gross, lol.

EEEWWWWW! I remember years ago, in our first house I went into the garage and there was a spider the size of a bread plate on the wall. I thought it was a joke my husband was playing until I saw it moved. I believe I screamed and said I am leaving Florida. 18 years later, here I am, still

Yeah it was pretty gross, it even made a huge "pop" noise, lol. I guess being sealed off from oxygen in the bag did something weird to it!
