Is Herbie Herbert actually a musician?

Just reading the new interview (circa) 2008 and it sounds like he throws things out there based upon what others have said, without understanding.

Examples: "Soto is an 'alto'" and some of the times he tries to describe key changes.

He plays music, but yes, sometimes he's a little off on the terminology...

Neal has trouble sight reading music, but I daresay you'ld consider him one.

Herbie is DEFINATELY a musician.

The twist he's he's also a businessman.

Most musicians only use that part of their brain to pick up chicks.

Yes, but in fairness, I've also seen Neal play an instrument (albeit on DVD) whereas I've not seen Herbie do that.

The reason I brought it up is a) I simply am not familiar with Herbie; b) some of his musical comments weren't right (ie. keys, vocal types etc) which. Wasn't sure if he was scrictly a manager or a manager/musician.
