I'm sure this has been posted before, but it's the first time I've seen it, lol
Of all the famous people singing. only Perry gets some "wooo"s from the very famous crowd... pretty cool

I like sp's first take even better than the one that made the song. (He looks great too! lol Nervous, but great.)

that song is so much better now than when it was out... i remember hating every aspect of that song when it came out!! IE-- OVER PLAYED!! but yea it was cool that SP was asked to be apart of that. Was it 1983 or 84 when we are the world was done.

"The Northern Lights" from Canada wasn't a bad effort with Bryan Adams, Burton Cummings, Geddy Lee, Corey Hart, Neil Young, the singer from Platinum Blonde, the fat dude from Loverboy, the '85 NHL All-Star teams and a slew of others. I don't know why Dan Akroyd didn't play in this one instead of the American effort though.

SP was the coolest and smoothest of the soloists. I love it that he was so grateful to be there and be included. It shows. He looks really happy. We just wanted to see him!! ANYWHERE!!!
