We have been in 1 quarter since last summer and during the primary season.

Lieberman is a turn coat and he isn't really a democrat...he (and I) will be soundly criticized by liberals here as being deluded and hoodwinked by the BushCo :roll:

Sentaor Obama is going to lose. He is the "hip" candidate right now. but once things get down to the wire and we see is fully disclosed record and his true ideas he will be soundly rejected by the American people.

I am sure Senator Obama is a good man, who loves his country. I won't run him down (and wish him to die for that matter) like the liberals will do to McCain and have done to President Bush.

I don't believe in the liberal hypocrisy, where if you disgaree with them or insult one of their candidates you are evil and scum and everything else putrid under the sun, while they can say what they want in any manner. (See the Thread on Senator Kennedy to see this vividly, especially coming from TNC when his rips one person for making a poor joke about Kennedy and then wishes death on President Bush)

I've said before it may be better for conservatives to have a socialist in the WH so they can rightfully call him out and expose him (or her)
Rather than have to stiffle themselves with a liberal McCain just because he has an R. with his name.
In fact I just got a letter from McCain headquarters asking for a donation and a survey (which I'm sure is very important) :roll:

Anyway, I'm planning on penning a nice little note to send back rather than a check. I'm sure it will be only one of thousands!

Some of you people seem to forget one painful fact about the presidential election. It's not about a popular vote....it's about strategic placement of your base/support in states that will win you the presidency in the face of an electoral college.

While Obama *might* lead McCain in the popular vote, It means dick unless the popular vote is evenly divided among the states...and THAT it is not.

Obama has a serious problem with white males that work hard for their dollar (i.e. blue collar workers). He can't win out with them, no matter what. And that's going to make it damn impossible for Obama to take any state in the middle of the country. He's going to have to pray that he can win the presidency without florida and Ohio (and the last two elections show how hard that is to do).

Expect to see Pennsylvania become a BIG battle ground state...and Obama is going to lie through his dumbo-encrusted pie hole to ALOT of steel workers in the keystone state, in an effort to change their mind.

This isn't at all over and done with....the Democrat party (and the media that refused to ask the tough questions of Obama during this past year), in my humble opinion, has shot itself in the foot with carrying Obama to the finishing line. Hillary stood a better, state-to-state, chance against McCain than Obama ever does. I would have voted for Hillary over McCain or Obama....now that Hillary is almost dead and burried, I wont give my vote to the fake christian....I'd sooner vote for McCain, as much as that kills me.

The media knows this, the democrat party knows this....so they are desperate to try to win this for the big eared muslim before McCain starts taking real shots at him. This is why stories about Obama's significant 'lead' are coming out in droves.....

Like I said, this kills me. McCain doesn't have a single plan for the economy and is likely to continue George Bush's failed foreign policy.....but I prefer someone to give me a plan...that isn't just a promise for change, where change would only be outlined after power is transfered to the dumbo-eared fuckwad making the promise of 'change'. Not going to happen on my watch....

Frank beat me to it.....but yeah, this poll wasn't even weighted by State....much less that Popular vote is moot....so who cares.

I'd also need to see breakdowns of age, race, income...OR...know that the data was weighted by the Census proportionally.

Finally, someone who is willing to vote on the phone may not be willing to go out of their way and miss their reality show or lunch and vote in November

Once it started to become clear it was going to be Obama vs. McCain in early February, I was predicting a 40+ state landslide victory for Obama. I have cooled on that. But, I still think Obama will win and possibly by a good margin in the electoral vote and definitely the overstated popular vote. He may even still win the most states.

Fortunately the USA is not one of those pussy countries that still have kings and queens on their currency!!!! The Welfare State hasn't won here yet. Obama can talk a bunch of college freshmen English majors into anything. Talk remains cheap and the best government remains one that does next to nothing and is mistrusted by those they govern. Fortunately the US is not populated entirely by whining left wing socialists who bend over and grab their ankles for government every chance they get, like some other cry baby, leach countries I am thinking about. It's a free world and I respect others opinions but I don't takes sides or give opinions in other countries' elections.
