FUNFACT: I teach Photoshop at UCLA, and one of my last workshop participants noticed my Journey site and mentioned that his friend sold that domain to Perry (his name is also Steve Perry). It's a small world...

It's been under construction since around 1994.....
Funny, he supposedly doesn't do the internet, but he's owned the domain name since I got my first computer in 1994.
Bring it on, Stevie!

I'll be the first IP address on file!

It is a small world.

SP mentioned in an old interview obtaining the domain from another named Steve Perry...I wonder how many Steve Perrys there are in the world.

Right. All it means is the domain is owned and nothings been done. Its a generic page.
Not news until/unless a custom under construction page goes up.

Until recently, this address has brought up nothing but an error page with "not found" scenarios. Now it's actually a legit page with "this site under construction" in the upper right hand corner.

Nope, it was doing that before too.
And yes, Perry doing something new is about as likely as the Great Pumpkin rising from the Pumpkin Patch. It'd be cool to happen, but I'm highly skeptical. Seems whenever Journey is doing something new, Perry's ghost gets a free ride.

What's with the patch on his left leg, right at the sock package level?

Too much action and worn through? That used to happen to the knees in my pants when I was a kid, too much friction wore a hole in them. Never happened at the crotch, tho.
