PERRY HAD IT. JSS to a point had it.

DALTRY REALLY HAD IT. JAGGER had it at one time. BRUCE HAS IT, JIM MORRISON HAD it, seeing the film of him... JOPLIN HAD IT

I'm not some wide-eyed, strung out Gwar or KISS retard giving myself a mental handjob when the singer struts, wiggles, shakes, bounces and bends. I watch all of the members, and what they do while they perform means nothing compared to how well they actually sound. I actually like checking out the crowd, scanning for nice tits, and rocking out with my eyes closed at times. I find there to be virtually no difference in the way Perry, Augeri and Arnel sang/presented the material. I had minor issues with Soto, but I'm gagged so I won't explain what they were. I now know how Neal and Jon feel.

I pay to hear a concert. Sorry, but I'm not enthralled with shakes and shuffles. Perry did nothing on stage and to me he's the greatest front man ever. No flying mic stands, no mic tossing, and no shuffles. He sang , and when he wasn't he worked the crowd a bit. I feel electricity from the crowd and the music...not some dude doing fucking scissor kicks, mic tosses and riser leaps. That shit excited me when I was 9.

I'm a massive fan of prog. But believe you me, if AC/DC and some symphonic prog act of yore were in my town at the same time...

....I'd prolly roll with AC/DC.

Rush and Porcupine Tree put on AMAZING shows for being progressive acts. Rush didn't do much physically, but they have reached the point where their music alone could carry a show if they stood stock still for three hours.

Porcupine Tree downright SOLD their music. They didn't do riser flips or scissor kicks but you could tell by their expressions, mannerisms, and the way they played/interacted that they genuinely felt and believed in their stuff. VERY very good mix of physical and audio stimulation without being too dramatic. Best show I've ever been to. They definitely have stage presence, without having a stage act.

She has a pretty good voice and doesn't act like a "Thriller" reject.

I know several in here don't like him, but I'd have to say........Paul Stanley! Think what you will about Kiss's music/talents, but nobody can deny the fact that Stanley puts on one HELL of a show!!! Even while getting up there in age, he has kicked some serious ASS up there onstage. JMHO!

AP stage presence looks good to me and every artist has their own style of singing,moves etc. If I want to look for any flaw in his performances then I'll probably get one. But naah I'm hearing good music and very nice voice that really suited in my ear so I'll rest my case into that.GO CHECK THE WALMART WEBSITE THEY ARE NOW SHOWING SOME CLIPS FROM THE LAS VEGAS CONCERT. PERRY DID A SHOW ONSTAGE! You're high.

The one thing that always stood out about Steve Perry was that he had a way of drawing you in to the song, like you were the only one in the audience. He always had the crowd eating out of his hands, even on a bad vocal night. He didn't need to do scissor kicks to entertain the crowd. JSS (IMO) draws the crowd in, but in a different way. JSS (and Sammy Hagar too) makes you feel like you're at a huge party and everyone is having a great time together.
