I just saw this on the Wal-Mart site. I just placed an order with 1 day shipping. Wal-Mart's are few and far between where I live, so am not spending the whole day travelling!

When I went to "reserve" a copy the other day somehow I got roped into ordering one from the official site by the lady in electronics, because my local store wasn't "sure if they were getting the album on the 3rd."

I was told that the CD was shipping for me on Tuesday, which means it will be at least Wednesday until I get it.

Wal-Mart is such a hodgepodge of convenience and confusion for me.

Well evidently it isnt a "Walmart Exclusive". It is being sold and advertised on cd universe.

I wonder if their buying a bunch from Walmart then marking up the price.

A local shop near me is getting some copies in, but I have a feeling the Walmart exclusive is either the CD of re-recorded songs, or the DVD. Didn't REO Speedwagon do that a while back with their latest album? The Walmart exclusive I think had a bonus DVD and CD of...well re-recorded "Hi-Infedelity" but acoustic.

shows label of Roots Music Exporters, under this they also have Garth Brooks and Tim Mcgraw Were these Walmart exclusives as well? I'm a little behind on my Country.

That doesn't mean they're going to distribute it, though. People can sell used copies on Amazon, and they are likely just creating the page for that purpose. Of course eventually Amazon will carry it.

Not sure if it's legal but that would make a lot of sense! Since they're selling it at 16.78 they could probably gross $5 on each.
