YEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! I'm on the DVD!!!!

LOL!!! Just watching the DVD right now, and saw myself in the crowd! At the end of the first song ("AWYWI"), there is a great pan of the audience where you can make out people's faces. Look very closely near the top at 5:27-5:30 and you will see one person clapping with his hands over his head, and his shirt is on FIRE -- sticks out like a sore thumb -- that's Rip Rokken with his magic shirt! And the head directly to my right is the Mrs., who was sitting down. Most of the time I clapped with my hands as high as possible hoping to be able to spot myself later on. Mission accomplished!!!

Might as well make this the official thread for people who spot themselves on the DVD, or recognize someone else who was there -- point yoselves out!

I'll see what I can do -- I'm watching it on my 62" TV right now, but will put it in my PC tomorrow and try to take a screencap. I'm back in the crowd, so I'm pretty blurry... just recognize the flash from my shirt and the way I was clapping, the Mrs. next to me, and the dude that was sitting behind us. And if I strain pretty hard, I could swear I can see Saint John to my right, turned around talking to someone. He had about 3 people crammed into his spot, though, so I'll be surprised if I see a good shot of him... LOL!!!

Me, my wife, and my best friend. 22 years earlier, when we were just teenagers, we saw Journey in San Diego, during the Raised On Radio Tour.

I went back and changed it to make it Saint John proof. Saint John and Tito -- that sounds suspiciously like The Green Hornet and Kato!

Anyway, watched the whole DVD as closely as possible last night, and the shot of WIX and Maui Tom was the best I could find.

We were in the front, but off to the left side. I hid behind Gayle whenever I saw a camera so I don't know if they captured me or not :lol:

No, but actually, they should have caught the part where I threw a fit and stormed out after finding that Journey wasn't opening for Dokken that night. All that wasted time and money!
