Would naming her as 2nd banana on the ticket make it more or less formidable in November ?
Should Barack double his personal security if he offers her the job ?

I have to admit that it does trouble me that Clinton's white supporters (particularly in my neck of the woods) are being called racists by every news agency in the land, yet it's CLEAR that nearly all of Obama's African American supporters voted for him for the same reasons...and that's ok??? Yet ANOTHER double standard!

I don't think Hil should accept it if offered, but if he's smart he'll offer. My money's on Chris Dodd or Wes Clark.

You have a black candidate that surrounded himself with successful white crooks (Tony Rezko and his posse) and a nutjob pastor. I've heard/seen a LOT of evidence that most black voters are voting for Obama because he's "black"...on TV, on Radio...listening to the R&B station here, you'd think he was Jesus himself...they all seem to ignore that his mother is white.

Didn't Mrs. Obama already veto the idea of Hill being the VP?

I don't agree with sweeping generalizations. Sure, many blacks voted for Obama because he is black and they identify with him. Many women voted for Hillary for the same reason. I like to think most people look at more than just skin color or sex when they vote.

Well, she almost got the same number of delegates as Obama. She maybe has many hater, but she obviously has many supporters too.

Pride has nothing to do with it.

I don't give a fuck about Toni Morrison and to be honest I don't even know who she is. I do know that I've heard some very high level Chicago politicians jokingly say things about him being "black." It's not that that I begrudge them for voting that way, it's the media's double standard. Why aren't those who vote for Obama on the basis of race accused of racism in the same way Clintons supporters were/are?

If he's smart he'll take someone like Nunn who is experienced and has a great amount of credibility for being a statesman. I could see a Obama/Nunn v. McCain/Jindal contest...that would be extremely fun to watch.
