OT: Zip Files

Postby 7 Wishes » Tue Jun 10, 2008 4:29 pm

OK, so my son LOVES Flight Simulator x. There are a ton of free add-ons available, so tonight I found a ton of them and downloaded them into zip files.

Now, I extracted the zip files into the appropriate folders in the FSX game.

However, I am somewhat PC illiterate, since all I do is check email, news, and make arcane posts on this forum.

My question to any IT experts out there is....can I delete the original zip files once they are downloaded into the game, or will that delete the aircraft in the FSX folder? Any help would be appreciated.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

Once the files have been "extracted" (decompressed and copied) from the .zip file,
they're separate and in the folder you specified. You can delete the .zip file you downloaded,

BUT

If you haven't done it already...
It's better to burn the little fuckers to a CD first, for backup.

Remember: Jesus Saves ...so follow His example.

wech
Definitely off it now...
