Don't think so but great tune.

Definitely don't want a cover of this one (or any for that matter). Perry's awesome on it.

I threw all the CD's from Escape to Revelation on a flash drive and have been listening to them on random all day. IHSBYH was just playing and I forgot how much I used to like it.

You should toss this one in there as well.

Perry's "Lost Angels", an unreleased track.

Love that one! I hope they don't even think about touching the TBF stuff, Perry's emoting on that material is second to none. :)

Nice, thanks... I love that song. I really liked Augeri too, but I can't imagine him covering this... I'll be interested to hear.

Definitely in the Top 3 from TBF - This is one of the Perry-era Journey's best, no doubt.

I didn't like Perry's voice on a lot of TBF... but this song is one of my favorites.

I heard him sing it in Indy either on the "Arrival" tour or the next year.

EDIT: ok, I found it in the 7/1/01 Scranton, PA boot.....here is the link to the song:

Enjoy.....the sound might not be the best, but it's fairly decent for a boot. :D

This is the type of song Augeri shines on. Not too many high notes. Lots of places to do the aay's and oh's.

Even with the noise his voice comes through pretty well. Enjoyed it, thanks Loneman1 !

Can't we just say singing? All this 'emoting' makes him sound like a real prima-donna. He is/was a singer and not an actor after all.

Thanks... beat me too it. Just got off work. Plus I had to figure how to get it off my Ipod to fileshare... to much tech stuff these days. Thanks again

Just helping when I can. :D I would love to post everything I have, but.....um....that would take awhile!

My thought process right now is that there maybe a second boot out there with this song? I haven't ever run across one personally, but maybe one of you guys have? I think conversationpc mentioned an Indiana show? I thought this was the only time, but I could very easily be wrong.....

Partial thread-jack, but the only reason I found this one so quick was I got to listening to several of my good sounding Augeri boots. The earlier thread that had Perry/Augeri/Arnel mash-up of "Open Arms" got me kind of missing Augeri's sound. Don't get me wrong.....I am behind Arnel all the way fronting Journey, but I want Augeri's solo album/Tall Stories stuff as well. In the earlier years before Schon/Cain toured him to death, he had really good voice and for me personally, and it would be great to hear him again now that he has rested! :D

Holy crap.
NEVER knew that they'd played this song.

The Arrival tour really had some curveballs. Not the consistent setlists of deep cuts like UTR, DeTour and Gens but they were ripping out 1-2 offbeat #s a night.

THANK YOU - so much for posting this - i just had shivers down my spine - this song really rocks and moved me too - it was like The Voice had just come back - awesome.
Steve, look at the music world right now - we have just seen new releases from Leppard, Asia, Dokken, Journey, Reo, etc - the time is right and the time is now - please put something out - and get this track on it - its as good as anything you ever did. Sorry for sounding so emotional but this track gave me the feeling i got the first time i heard DSB or Separate Ways - to me, it really is that good.
