First Post

Hello there everybody. My name is Richard and I’m a long time Journey fan, since 1980 for those who really want to know. I like many people have been a long time lurker to these boards and I’m just now braving the waters here, as this can be an intimidating place to post.
A little bit about me:
Married
Retired
Gamer (CoH/CoV)
Computer Geek (without the geek vibe according to my wife)
Animal Lover
Football Fan (American sorry Andrew)
Love to travel
Bengals Fan
Fist Concert was Journey in 83’ supporting the Frontiers Album, in Cincinnati, OH
Last Concert was Journey in 05’ at the Fraze Pavilion in Dayton, OH
Next Concert will be 9-7-08 at Reverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, OH
How I feel about the members of Journey past and present:
Steve Perry his voice is he reason I’m a fan of Journey
Neal Schon loved his Late Nite CD (still listen to it)
Jonathan Cain love the way he writes songs that can touch the soul
Deen Castronovo the guy just punishes the drums and a great singer as well
Steve Augeri really nice guy who kept the Journey Going
Arnel Pineda this guy is just a great singer and he has the strength of voice to carry the songs both old and new
Ross Valory is just a solid funny guy who gives his all to his music
Steve Smith is the reason I want to play the drums, coordination is why I can’t
Greg Rolie just wow, great singer, writer, piano player and so much more
I will start jumping into threads soon so hopefully we will see more of each other.
Until Then,
Peace
