The VOICE in the song that played on the Soprano's belongs to STEVE PERRY. The best ap can do is sail on his coattails.

Publicity - yep, as the writer says -

they needed a new singer -- one who more closely sounded like Perry to take advantage of the opportunity at hand.

Just more PUBLIC evidence that ap was hired because he sounded like Steve Perry.

wow, that's weird...before I saw this thread I just posted a thread about the Sopranos finale! I had no idea it was the one year mark - I just happened to buy the GQ magazine yesterday on Journey and the mention of the show.
