My guess is it allows more songs into the 90 minutes they are being allowed. I like the idea. Satisfy everyone at least to some extent.

maybe one medley of about 4/6 songs, like 38 special does for the movie songs, they could do
ask the lonely, only the youg with i be alright, and be good to yourself, and shorten them
