I've been saying for awhile that there are only 3 bands that haven't reunited in the last decade or so (not including LZ), Cetera and Chicago, Perry and Journey, and The Commodores. I thought the Commodores would be the last to reunite becaue Richie (solo career) was as big, if not bigger than the Commodores.

I don't think Richie is doing to well on his solo tours these days and he needs something to bring some press his way. Guarantee you, that after that tour is over, he goes back to touring solo.

I wonder if Lionel ever "felt like a part of the" Commodores?

He said: "We better do it now, or in the next ten years nobody would care."

You should be giving the Commodores MAJOR props. Any band with the nads to
put out a song entitled "Young Girls Are My Weakness" deserves props.
