Council Bluffs, IA show, 7/22, ILAA 5-star package a bargain

Compared to the other shows which are averaging $375.00 for the 5-star package, Council Bluffs is a good deal for $225.00. By the way, the Lake Tahoe 5-star is $495.00! That's just a little bit ridiculous. You can probably guess why the Council Bluffs show is priced so low...

Why? Because of it's location? If so...you're being a little presumpuous. It's just a few miles north of Omaha, population over 700,000 which is a lot bigger then most markets this tour is toting through.

Lake Tahoe population: 24,000

The state of Iowa has been taking on a little water lately. Maybe you haven't heard.

Since I live about ten miles from Iowa...yeah, I've heard.

And if you've been paying attention, it's on the EAST side of the state...you know, where the Mississippi actually runs, not the extreme WEST side of the state where Council Bluffs/Omaha is!!

Angie, it was not my intention to be "presumpuous" at all...I'm merely pointing out that Council Bluffs is a good deal to consider if you live close to that area. Advance ticket sales may not be doing as well for this show...perhaps because Iowa folks have a lot more on their minds right now? That's all I'm trying to say...don't read so much into it.

From what I've read on this board about Journey's entourage, management etc and from what I know about promoters, they couldn't care less about what the current events situation is in an area they are going to be performing in. Those prices were set LONG ago and they probably don't even know what is going on in Eastern Iowa(or have figured out Council Bluffs is clear the hell across the state from the flooding). Even so, they'd proabaly offer them a glass of water with their tickets.

Nah, nothing bothers me in here anymore. You won't find me defending this lineup too strongly.

How could you? Everything you've said they wouldn't do they've done. Album a smashing success, Gold album imminent, Platinum album imminent, tour selling like hotcakes, and the band is relevant for the first time sonce 1996. I'll pass along that you're no longer onboard.

If you're looking for more than a single ticket for this show ILAA may be your only answer.

Hey - stop tempting me!!

The Iowa show is the only show that's a possibility for me and its like 700 miles. If I lived closer, I would definitely own one of those packages.
