While Journey was out of the game for a decade, I don't think Rush and Asia ever really "went away" at all.

Well, the original, classic lineup of Asia hadn't been around since 83-84. You're right about Rush, though. Neal Peart joined the band for "Fly By Night" in 1975 and that lineup has been together ever since then.
