PACQUIAO: a “GENTLEMAN” from the Philippines tearing it up…

I know most of you may not care about boxing …but you may want to check this out. Some Boston Celtics stars rooted for him, and I can understand why.

In the brutal world of boxing---I was just impressed at how this 4-weight class champ, Manny Pacquiao, showed unexpected act of sportsmanship and kindness when he tried to lift his fallen, badly-beaten (KO’ed in 9th round) opponent, David Diaz, last Saturday night in Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas (see video below at 20:51). He further showed a very friendly gesture with Diaz during the after-fight interview at ringside (see video below at 15:20).

"I thought they could have stopped the fight sooner," Pacquiao said. "I asked the referee, and he told me, 'Go ahead and continue.' "
