1. Florida. Tim Tebow, Percy Harvin, enuff said. Plus the chip on their shoulder that Georgia left last season with their big hokey pokey celebration after one score.
2. Ohio State. Shit, they dont play anyone except Michigan and Michigan are rebuilding. Wait till they meet another SEC team. Another loss in the big game.
3. Georgia. Fuck Georgia, they piss me off with their smug bullshit. Florida has their number and Tim Tebow has their ASS tattoed on his brain.
4.USC. Thank God they dont play the SEC. Tim Tebow would paste their ass. They will run thru the Pac10 though. Hell, South Forida would run thru the Pac10.
5.Missouri. Fuck Cahse Breenan. Play the SEC and see what your made of.
And this concludes my preseason top5. Thoughts?

Rhi, are you a hokie?
Rhiannon wrote:ScarabGator wrote:Rhi, study up on Tim Tebow. Thats all you need.
Trust me, I'd study up on Tim Tebow alright. But you're not going to convert me. I was a Hokie in '88 when they were 2-8, and in '99 when Vick was awesome and sat in front of the TV until 1:00am on a school night watching them have their asses handed to them by FSU, still believing with 1:45 left that they could score 17 points and at least put it in OT.![]()

This is a TRUE statement, but not a way to get on my good side!!!
Red13JoePa wrote:Please tell me Ohio State has spent their BCS title game capital for a while.
Penn State Rosebowl-bound.
FL does have a good shot at winning it all, them having Eric Martin I mean Tebow and all...
BTW, for you SEC Elitists, here's a good sampling of BIG11 vs SEC data to choke on:
Penn State vs. SEC, 1991-2007:
Date Opponent (record) Result Score Site
1/1/2007 vs. Tennessee (9-4) W 20 10 @ Tampa, FL Outback Bowl
1/1/2003 vs. Auburn (9-4) L 9 13 @ Orlando, FL Capital One Bowl
1/1/1999 vs. Kentucky (7-5) W 26 14 @ Tampa, FL Outback Bowl
1/1/1998 vs. Florida (10-2) L 6 21 @ Orlando, FL Citrus Bowl
1/1/1996 vs. Auburn (8-4) W 43 14 @ Tampa, FL Hall of Fame Bowl
1/1/1994 vs. Tennessee (9-2-1) W 31 13 @ Orlando, FL Citrus Bowl
1/1/1992 vs. Tennessee (9-3) W 42 17 @ Tempe, AZ Fiesta Bowl
The 1998 Citrus Bowl, of course, being the game for which Curtis Enis and Joe Jurevicius were suspended — Enis for accepting that damned suit, and Jurevicius for skipping class.
Michigan’s winning percentage is even higher:
Date Opponent (record) Result Score Site
1/1/2008 vs. Florida (9-4) W 41 35 @ Orlando, FL Capital One Bowl
9/2/2006 vs. Vanderbilt (4-8 ) W 27 7
1/1/2003 vs. Florida (8-5) W 38 30 @ Tampa, FL Outback Bowl
1/1/2002 vs. Tennessee (11-2) L 17 45 @ Orlando, FL Citrus Bowl
1/1/2001 vs. Auburn (9-4) W 31 28 @ Orlando, FL Citrus Bowl
1/1/2000 vs. Alabama (10-3) W 35 34 @ Miami, FL Orange Bowl
1/1/1999 vs. Arkansas (9-3) W 45 31 @ Orlando, FL Citrus Bowl
1/1/1997 vs. Alabama (10-3) L 14 17 @ Tampa, FL Outback Bowl
1/1/1991 vs. Mississippi (9-3) W 35 3 @ Jacksonville, FL Gator Bowl
And Wisconsin hangs relatively tough:
Date Opponent (record) Result Score Site
1/1/2008 vs. Tennessee (10-4) L 17 21 @ Tampa, FL Outback Bowl
1/1/2007 vs. Arkansas (10-4) W 17 14 @ Orlando, FL Capital One Bowl
1/2/2006 vs. Auburn (9-3) W 24 10 @ Orlando, FL Capital One Bowl
1/1/2005 vs. Georgia (10-2) L 21 24 @ Tampa, FL Outback Bowl
12/31/2003 vs. Auburn (8-5) L 14 28 @ Nashville, TN Music City Bowl
1/1/1998 vs. Georgia (10-2) L 6 33 @ Tampa, FL Outback Bowl
Really, it’s Ohio State that is shitting the bed, but they’ve played some pretty damned good teams, even if you throw out the BCS Championship matchups:
Date Opponent (record) Result Score Site
1/7/2008 vs. Louisiana State (12-2) L 24 38 @ New Orleans, LA BCS Championship
1/8/2007 vs. Florida (13-1) L 14 41 @ Glendale, AZ BCS Championship
1/1/2002 vs. South Carolina (9-3) L 28 31 @ Tampa, FL Outback Bowl
1/1/2001 vs. South Carolina (8-4) L 7 24 @ Tampa, FL Outback Bowl
1/1/1996 vs. Tennessee (11-1) L 14 20 @ Orlando, FL Citrus Bowl
1/2/1995 vs. Alabama (12-1) L 17 24 @ Orlando, FL Citrus Bowl
1/1/1993 vs. Georgia (10-2) L 14 21 @ Orlando, FL Citrus Bowl
Nevermind, of course, that practically every one of these games is played in Florida. Still, blame Ohio State for the Big Ten’s bad reputation against the SEC. The rest of the conference shouldn’t get lumped in.
And okay, fine. Here’s Iowa:
1/2/2006 vs. Florida (9-3) L 24 31 @ Tampa, FL Outback Bowl
1/1/2005 vs. Louisiana State (9-3) W 30 25 @ Orlando, FL Capital One Bowl
1/1/2004 vs. Florida (8-5) W 37 17 @ Tampa, FL Outback Bowl
Michigan State:
Date Opponent (record) Result Score Site
1/1/2000 vs. Florida (9-4) W 37 34 @ Orlando, FL Citrus Bowl
12/29/1995 vs. Louisiana State (7-4-1) L 26 45 @ Shreveport, LA Independence Bowl
Minnesota:
Date Opponent (record) Result Score Site
12/31/2004 vs. Alabama (6-6) W 20 16 @ Nashville, TN Music City Bowl
12/30/2002 vs. Arkansas (9-5) W 29 14 @ Nashville, TN Music City Bowl
So, seriously. What the hell? Okay, Purdue lost to Georgia twice by a combined 10 points. Illinois lost to LSU in the ‘02 Sugar Bowl. BFD.

Rhi, as a full fledged seminole HATER I was wishing Vick could have come back. I pulled hard for you guys that night. Still remember it like it was yesterday. I remember how pissed off I was watching FSU hoist the trophy up high, those bunch of criminals. Kept thinking that the Gator Nation felt the same hostilty I felt. Whats it been in the last 4 years? UF-4 games FSU-0!!!!

Granted, Ohio State just ain't getting it done vs the ol' "southern speed."

LOL, dude it's a dubious "W."
Penn State played w/out beastly halfback Curtis Enis and #1 Split End Joe Jurevicious.
I absolutely love Steve Spurrier, though. How does FL feel about him now, loved or hated?

That's the sacred sanctuary and cathedral of Our Holy Hokies: Lane Stadium/Worsham Field, and I'd appreciate you to respect that.

I was up there for the last Penn State "W" in the Big House (9 years ago).

Ok, one more time. I'm in a city that demands choosing a side. I stuck with similar colors. I've always hated the Sox (of any kind, white or red)... and Ryan Theriot is fkn hot.
I'm still that same girl who was 8 years old playing in the sandlot saying she was "Mrs. Smoltz". No worries.![]()
And I didn't go to a game, I took a friend from home on a tour of the city w/ bluejeangirl this past Saturday.
