"Erase The Slate" is a KILLER song, with a ton of energy. A great way to resurrect themselves after Shadowlife...

I like your screen name, and should change my to LynchToLevin -- WhatDoYouThink?

"Erase the Slate" is a great tune. When I first heard it, I knew Dokken was back after the horrible "Shadowlife". I don't know that I've ever been more disappointed in an album than I was with that one. Horrible.

I'm glad they got Pilson. He's a better player, in my opinion, and better singer to boot.

There's little chance he doesn't know who Rip Rokken is... he's seen some of the pictures I've done and thought they were hilarious, and I'm sure by now he's seen my now legendary Don Dokken Facts. These are all original, btw...

Shadowlife was a real disappointment as it was a total departure from the Dokken sound, but the music actually isn't that bad, and I really like a few songs on the disc. It just wasn't a Dokken album, hence the rejection by fans.

"Kiss Of Death" is also one of my faves, and Reb Beach seems to pay homage to that opening riff on track 2, "Change The World", from Erase The Slate:

I think I only listened through it once, twice at the most and haven't heard a single tune from it since then. It was basically Dokken's attempt at sounds like all the other bands in the grunge/alternative era. Terrible.
