There was another thread about the charts in which a reader asked how SP can be cashing in while the others work for him. Here you have the answer. The Arnel/Youtube/Revelation story has put Journey back in the news. As the band tours the country the local media in those markets will pick up the story. A rising tide floats all boats. There's a lot of curiosity about this new singer and people are invariably going to buy old and new to compare. I know I did. Granted the Journey catalog wasn't hurting before but this fresh publicity is pumping it up right now.

I wonder if albums sales will get a boost when the US leg of tour starts in a few days.

I'd predict that they'd HAVE to get a boost! I don't know how BIG of a boost, but it'll be there. I'm sure many Heart and Cheap Trick fans will be there, that aren't REAL Journey fans. I suspect that many of them (after hearing the band) will think, "damn...I need to go buy that new album. I didn't even know they were still putting out new music!" Just my guess, but I'm sure it'll be happening. I can't WAIT for the Charlotte NC show!!!

it was down from the previous week. i hope as the US tour is kicking-in in a few days it probably go higher.
