The overall feel of that was just really somber onstage, other than Arnel moving around. I think his over-zealous jumping makes the rest of them look really old. The rest of them forgot to take their "rock vitamins" for that show.![]()
Cain's intro to Open Arms didn't even flow into the song. It was some classical wanker that didn't belong.
I don't know who is making their decisions, if it is Azoff or not, but it just looked like....here's our replacement, of the replacement, of the replacement, of the original singer Steve Perry, singing our greatest hits for the trillionth time. Ain't he great? It didn't do anything to show that they are making new music or even attempting to move out of Perry's shadow. Somebody had to make the decision to edit it to greatest hits. Was it VH-1C or Journey? Poor choices, as usual, for them.

I guess they either had no editing control or thought something was better than nothing. Still....if they agreed to it, it doesn't show faith in their new product.
