AP sounds as good live as he does on the recordings. Thanks for the link.

Yes, AP definitely sounds unbelievable live. On some of the re-recordings, I prefer Perry on the ballads, but on the live euro version of the ballads, I like AP vocally (although I prefer SP emotionally). It's a shame we don't have high fidelity audio for these live performances. I wonder what hearing it in person would be like.

AP also sounded fantastic on Who's Crying Now (denver). He played a lot with the notes, I never thought he could do those that much.

Not bad but he needs to quit jumping and running around so much. He gets out of breath occasionally from it. I'm glad to see he's changing up the vocals a little here and there.

Damn,

Whos crying now sounds amazing !! His phrasing is almost dead on there. I think I hear Deen doubling Arnel and sometimes they are not perfect in pitch and it sounds bad unless that is someone in the crowd.

Probably because Journey is promoting their new release by playing 5 songs from it in their set...

This is one of the songs I really like from Rev. - glad to see they are playing it & AP did very well & DEEN! "dang, I saw fireworks shootin' from them thar drums" :) :)
Also, Change for the Better wasn't intially one that I took to, it has grown on me and I like it "muchly", too. I only hope the new songs don't get cut out for lack of audience support...as long as they work in the LIVE setting, like these do.

Interesting to hear SHML with no guitar.
On one boot during the Main Event tour, Cain's piano goes out and he can be heard distinctly yelling for his tech "Hey guy!!"
Augeri went ahead and did some sort of acapella singalong with the crowd in the meantime.

 I wonder if it was "Hey (roadie person who's name I've never cared to remember)" or "Hey Guy"

Yeah, that's pretty sick. I love Arnel running in right before the verse, too. The crowd really was pumped when he ran in. That was cool. 8)
