Once again , the official site announced Utah Concert is sold out! The venue is about 20,000 capacity.

This is no surprise. With one of the best catalogs in rock and one of the greatest guitarists ever coupled with an amazing new singer I expect this to continue. Could be a Top 5 summer tour behind The Eagles, that scumbag Springsteen, and New Kids On The Block...who coincidentally just booked The United Center in Chicago for 2 nights, something Van Halen couldn't do just recently.

Chicago holds almost 40,000 so I'm really anxious to see how much they fill it. Last time was somewhat disappointing attendance-wise.

its possible it wont be filled but tickets will be SOLD OUT.

As soon as Journey hit the stage, IT WAS FILLED!! Awesome show, Arnel sang BGTY tonight, and we got Escape. Didn't get Where did I lose your love or WCN, but I can deal with that. If I am remembering right, the rest seemed about like what the Denver show was, although the setlist was ordered quite a bit differently. All the guys seemed on fire!!! At one point during Escape, Arnel went down to the crowd and put on someones hat for a moment....cool stuff!!!

Oh yea, Heart definitely kicked ass as well!!! Cheap Trick....meh. They were decent, but the sound mix was off, very high pitched and everything but the snare on the drums seemed like nothing but a deep hum at alot of parts. All in all, I would have probably rather had Heart and Journey to get extra playing time without them. Anyways, I'm tired and off to bed......probably overall the best Journey concert I have seen (my first was New Year's '98 in Reno)!!
