Journey's "Greatest Hits" certified 15x platinum

The 'Greatest Hits' CD went certified 15 x platinum on April 22, 2008 .....

Was at Virgin records super store in Orlando last week and it was #21 on the "alltime top 40"

That is an unbelievable testament to some timeless, incredible music created by some very talented people. It's also a reflection of the awesome "team" Journey had...everyone from Herbie to Lora and Cyndy.

The news here is that there is actually any "record" store still in business. Every Virgin and Tower store around these parts has closed up shop! Sure sign of the times!

Did you check out the Eagles' certifications on Long Road Out of Eden? It's 7x platinum and was released LAST YEAR!!! That's insane!

Nope, no doubling, just "packaging' the favorite individual songs from a 15 year career...still sort of a cheat if you want to look at it that way. This is not a CD of "original" music at this point either.

Nothing insane about it. EVERYTHING The Eagles put out sells like a mofo! They're one of the greatest bands this country has ever seen! There isn't a guy in that band who isn't immensely talented, and they can all actually sing!
