OMG! I just saw that yesterday for the first time. That is amazing, isn't it? I just watched it again (and cried again). I really believe that animals understand and feel so much more than we give them credit for.

That took a lot of courage (and faith) not to turn and bolt when Tigger came bouncing up on them like that.

Running is the worst thing you can do...carnivores...cats in particular...get a trigger when potential prey runs...then again...I see your point...

Read the Snopes article on him...Evidently prior to them flying back to Africa Christian hadn't been seen for a year...the day before the people who raised him arrived he brought his pride back to Kona reserve where he was released...like he knew they were coming...Amazing story...
