Since when is heat in Texas news???? Hell, the Texas Rangers don't play a single day game the entire summer because of the insane heat! My favorite line is when someone tells you "it's a dry heat"! Yeah...so is my oven

I agree. I grew up in E. TX near the Louisiana border. I live out here where it's dry now. The dry heat is much easier to take than humid heat, IMO.

Houston is a lot like that as well. We don't have it near as bad around Dallas as a lot of people do.
