Was there more than one Ultimate Warrior? Wrestling always had a big following here in Calgary because of the Harts/Stampede Wrestling......I used to watch it way back when Brett was wrestling, this doesn't look like the same costume or guy?? :?

That's him!!! I saw him on a show and he was discussing how "steroids taken properly under the care of a physician" (or something like that) have no ill effects. Looks like the fucker was right. Man, that dude's big!!!

It looks like he had extension cords surgically placed in his arms...that dude is ripped.
The "Ultimate Warrior" never died...he just legally changed his name to "The Warrior" after he left the WWF/WWE as they owned the rights to the name "The Ultimate Warrior" at the time. Same guy.

Hah! I knew it, I phoned my brother (wrestling nut  ) and he said Kerry Von Erich was the Ultimate Warrior for a short time. Von Erich's were like the Harts. Sad that he died so young (suicide), remember reading about him in Bret's biography. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDL0pqHA ... re=related

LOL, I knew the one I remembered was hotter. :P

Thats the name Deb! The Von Erich's were a wrestling family with a father and 3 sons, I believe that 2 of the sons are dead also.

This Warrior is the same Warrior that was wrestling in the WWF. Lots of speculation through the years about his supposed death, but he is the real deal. While I don't really agree with all the stuff he has said in recent years on his site, there is no doubt that he is the same guy.

As far as steroids go, he admited to using them I think in the very early 90's (could be wrong on the date there, he mentioned some length of time), but he has not taken them since. I gotta say that I actually believe him. I have seen his "return match" that the above clip was hyping up. He isn't as big as he used to be, but he is still pretty pumped for his age. I have to say the dude has a pretty good work ethic as far as keeping himself in shape.

Wait Deb, wasn't Von Erich known as the Texas Tornado?

Yeah, he was separate from UW. The only things that were similar were the tassles on his boots and long hair.

Kerry Von Erich -

Ultimate Warrior -

Fact about Kerry, he was in a bad motorcycle accident and had to have his right leg amputated from the knee down. The entire time he was in the WWF, he wrestled with a prosthetic leg.

I think the Von Erichs were THE most tragic wrestling family. I think Kevin is all that is left. :(

Michael, Kerry, and Chris Von Erich all committed suicide. David Von Erich was the first of the brothers to die, in what most believed to be a suicide back in 1984, but later was determined to be a heart attack (probably brought on by drugs). Only Kevin Von Erich remains alive out of all of the brothers. They are definitely the Kennedys of wrestling!

Kerry Von Erich was NEVER the Ultimate Warrior. There was only one Ultimate Warrior, the rumors of his death and other people playing the character are totally wrong.

If you want a great DVD documentary of WCCW and the Von Erichs, this is a great DVD:

http://www.amazon.ca/Heroes-World-Class ... B000I2JDD0

WWE put a different one out there last year, not as good. I would get the other one. But, here's a review of the WWE one:

Anyone who thinks this guy is not taking steroids at this time is pretty naive. Some people will just believe anything, i would think by now with all the people that have been exposed, people would finally get a clue about professional athletes.

I don't even understand why people like "professional" wrestling to begin with.

If he is still taking steroids, its not working as well as it used to. There is no naivity going on here, I am just comparing the 90's version version of the guy with the one I saw from the video in June. He is not nearly as big as he used to be, but he is still well above average for a guy his age. The guy used to be a bodybuilder before wrestling and he has said in the past that after he stopped wrestling he kept a similar workout regimine, though a bit less intense since he wasn't on camera constantly. Its not unrealistic to think that he could still look like that through nothing but your good old fashioned work out.

Actually, its totally unrealistic to think he's not using. At his age he is in advanced testosterone loss(which actually starts decreasing once you hit 20 but at 40 its almost non existance at 50 forget about it. the ability to keep the amount of muscle that he has on him at his age is impossible without help from anabolic steroids and or growth hormone.
