Great tune.
Made me start to wonder what an Eric Martin-fronted Journey would've been like.

Thanks for the tune MP. Eric's got a very strong voice. In this song, reminds me of JSS, Mike Reno and Johnny Gioelli. With Neal's playing its got a Hardline vibe. Hot Cherie anyone?

I went to see if I could pick up this cd on Amazon. $50 bucks!? WTH?

http://www.amazon.com/Teachers-Original ... B0002TTYE2

Here's the track listing:

1. Teacher, Teacher - .38 Special
2. One Foot Back In Your Door - Roman Holiday
3. Edge of a Dream Theme From 'Teachers' - Joe Cocker
4. Interstate Love Affair - Night Ranger
5. Foolin' Around - Freddie Mercury
6. Cheap Sunglasses - ZZ Top
7. Understanding - Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band
8. I Can't Stop the Fire - Eric Martin
9. In the Jungle (Concrete Jungle) - The Motels
10. (I'm the) Teacher - Ian Hunter

I haven't heard #5 either. Freddie Mercury. Hell Bob Seger's on here too. Sounds like a good disc.

Thanks, was trying to figure out who he sounded a little like on that. I could hear a touch of Mike Reno in there too. Not sure who Johnny Goeilli is though. Great rockin' tune. Didn't Eric and Neal write Triumph's ballad "Just One Night" too? Great version of that: www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVtsKuj22vQ

Eric's version is way more soulful though, I'll have to find it and upload it. :)
