For the past few months, I have been involved in building a website where musicians can share riffs and collaborate via the internet. Our site will be a bit different (and hopefully better) than others. We plan to launch the beta in about two weeks.

I’m asking if any of you musicians would be interested in joining us on launch day to create a profile and upload a riff or two. These can be full songs or short riffs. Maybe a bass line or chord progression, etc. I’m not a musician, so maybe my lingo is off.

Users then have the ability to download your riff, add to it, and re-upload it. Imagine the possibilities of collaboration.

Let me know if you are interested and I can get you more info. You get nothing but the chance to be in on the ground floor and my undying devotion.

for real .. ive done this kinda file share before but i never have gotten anything back ..

Excellent. I think this is something pretty cool for musicians. I'll contact you via PM soon.

I'd be down if I had the capability to record my bass licks, haha.

Good news is we will offer simple how-to's and point to some on-line recording software.
