Neal...here's my request!

Neal,

we all know you browse the forum, so here's my request for the Charlotte show this Saturday... "What I needed". It's the best, most emotion-driven song (in my opinion) on the album. I've heard from several other people here (and elsewhere) that really LOVE that song, and I'd love to hear it live! If I don't hear it that night... I might just have to beat someone up! Not you... But I'll find someone (probably a 60 year old) and commence to whippin' that ASS!!!

In all seriousness... I really would love to hear that song, and I know a lot of other people there would enjoy it. I can't wait to see the show!

That honor goes to "Homemade Love".

One More is a wicked-ass song that should be played live more often in such venues as Cleveland or Tinley Park. :D

Worse than:

All the Way?
Loved by You?
Lifetime of Dreams?
I'm Cryin?
Homemade Love?
Back Talk?
Frontiers?
Every Generation?
Butterfly?
Believe?
Knowing That You Love Me?
Better Together?
Gone Crazy?
La Do Da?
Can Do?
Only Solutions?
All That Really Matters?
Don't Be Down On Me Baby?
Baby I'm A Leavin You?
1990's Theme?

freakin' Winds of Freedom?

;)

Although some of the songs on that list are good 'uns I will concede that 'Butterfly' and 'Winds of Freedom' are sh!t stains of the highest order. 'One More' is in a different league altogether though and is in fact the soundtrack to the seventh circle of hell.

If you blocked out the lyrics to One More and enjoyed it as an instrumental, would you concede that is the musical equivalent of having one of Gunbot's avatars eating grapes out of your bellybutton?

Nope. Although my main gripe with the song is the lyrical content Neal's guitar tone sounds just as whiny as Perry's overly theatrical vocal wailing on this one. I do like Asian women though! :D

One More ? I love that song. I get fucking tired of songs about lost loves and relationships. Its nice to have some lyrics that are outside the box from them. Really dig that song...

Dude, you CAN'T do away with songs about lost loves and relationships, or you would bring an end to Dokken for good...
