1. I was asked to post the link by "Gunboat" and "Wednesday Child" using "F" word. I
complied.
2. Annie claimed that quote
" I absolutely did not make such a statement!".
3. Webster dictionary definition of "illitirate". adj. unable to read and write. It didn't say any language " uneducated" not educated meaning again illiterate.
Note: Thank you for your forgiveness, Gunboat, you're absolutely right I' AM UNEDUCATED.
4. Let's analyze her wordings
a. " There are tons of Filipinos here in Nevada". If we equate this to unit of weight; it equals to 2,000 lbs. Since tons is plural, it means more than 4K Filipinos.
b. "I would say mostly uneducated foreigners that came over here to the U.S". Now she's not talking about Reno, Nevada where she based, she said "here to the US". She saying the entirerity of USA.; not only Nevada. "uneducated foreigners" reffering to Filipinos.
c. Annie, she didn't say that "most of the Filipinos she's seen working in Nevada seem uneducated''. She said "I would say mostly uneducated foreigners that came over here to the U.S". If the Filipinos population in US maybe approx. 2.5 million, then the word mostly may equate
to more than 1.25 million Filipinos in the USA.
d. Gunboat, she didn't say she met them in VEGAS, did she? She said " have many that come to my business on a regular basis sending money back home. It is very hard to even communicate with them, but I would bet they have no idea who Arnel or Journey are.
5. This is what I posted;
"did't you say while back that Filipinos are the most uneducated people you've met? That's total disrespect!
Shame! Shame! What comes around goes around..your time is up!
I stand corrected, I should have said that "didn't you say while back that Filipinos are mostly uneducated foreigner that came over here to the US" I wrote that first post
w/out reference on hand;my bust!
YOU CAN SPIN THIS ANYWAY YOU WANT IT! BUT THE SAD FACT IS SHE MADE THIS STATEMENT AND DENIED IT.
This my friends is Annie's statement, read the link.

There are tons of Filipinos here in Nevada, I would say mostly uneducated foreigners that came over here to the US and is working at casinos. I have many that come to my business on a regular basis sending money back home. It is very hard to even communicate with them, but I would bet they have no idea who Arnel or Journey are.
The big contingency that flocked over to Vegas to see Journey is but a small sampling--when you look at the overall scheme of the population. Sure, Journey appears to have a built-in fanbase (among those Filipino's that are into music), but it is yet to be seen how that will translate into record sales and concert crowds in other parts of the country besides So Cal-Vegas commuting area.
And, not to say I know the minds of all Asians everywhere, but it seems there is a misconception that just because the Filipinos have a natural kinship and excitement over Arnel joining an "American" band, this excitement doesn't necessarily extend over to other groups of Asians in Japan, China, Korea, etc.--nor any of the other Asian-Americans here. After all, we Asians are very competitive people. History has shown that there is more bad blood among this wide diversity group of people (lumped into a 1-name classification) than outside this group.
