OT-Sick boy gets to meet Ozzie at Ozzfest

A seven-year-old Ozzy Osbourne fan from the St. Petersburg, Florida area will travel to Ozzfest this weekend to meet his hero, according to the St. Petersburg Times. Ryan Cunningham, who suffers from cystic fibrosis, is traveling to the all-day metal festival with his parents to meet and hang out with Ozzy thanks to the Children's Dream Fund, a local group which fulfills dreams for children between the ages of three and 18 who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.

Ryan first got into Ozzy at the age of five, when his father David played the Black Sabbath song "Iron Man" in the car on the way to school. David said, "We had to play it over and over and over. And I mean every day."
Ryan said that the first thing he will do when he meets Ozzy is "give him a hug."
The youngster was diagnosed when he was eight months old with cystic fibrosis, which prevents the lungs from clearing out mucus. Ryan has to take nearly 30 pills a day to combat the disease.
In addition to Ozzy, Ryan says his favorite acts are Metallica, AC/DC, Guns N' Roses and Pink Floyd. His favorite Ozzy song is "Gets Me Through" from his 2001 album, Down to Earth.
