I'm looking for your brainstorms in compiling a CD of weekend-themed "time to party my face off!!!!!!!" songs (rock/alternative/metal)...
Something to toss in my CD player on my thirty-minute Friday commute home to get the adrenaline flowing as I daydream in anticipation about the sweet "phwisssshhhh" noise of my first beer being uncapped.

Ideas????

Seeing as how this is a Journey Forum, I've always thought of 'Escape' as a weekend song.

Um..."Working For the Weekend"?

Or, also courtesy of Loverboy, "Friday Night"?

Delbert McClinton

You've probably heard his tune, "Givin' It Up for Your Love" maybe 25 years or so ago.
