2 Orchestra 1 Tix Bristow, VA - I will donate proceeds ...

Postby daltonsdad » Sun Aug 10, 2008 4:16 pm

Hello,
I have 2 Orch seats to Journey in Bristow, VA for Aug 27,2008. I have a friend who has a niece stricken with Cancer and she was on her local St Jude's telethin in Illinois and of course I did not have the number to call her. I would like to send a donation to her since she is benefitting greatly from the organization. (by the way, you can see her story at Caringbridge.org/haleycarter) She has a website supplied by a non profit org where she keeps everyone updated on her progress. The strongest 10 year old I have ever encountered.

If you need tix, these are awesome seats and for what a great cause. I would appreciate it. If no takers I may contact DC101 and see if they would do a raffle via donations for 1.00 - 1.50 through paypal or something. I have no idea if they would do such a thing but it cannot hurt to try. Hell, I contacted the packers front office about her and they sent her a box of stuff bigger than she is, so you just never know.

I appreciate the consideration!

I would like to get the cost. The cost was $298.80 and I have the receipt I can print and send with the tickets. I would do this via paypal so you feel you have protection. I would bear the shipping and transaction costs. I may be able to get you a copy of the donation receipt as well I will sned Haley's mom an email to see how that works.

I may know someone who may be interested. The cost is a little to rich for my blood. I will find out if my friend might be interested.

I called and I can get a receipt so you should be able to lower the cost if you itemize on taxes. We can also work it out that I can possibly put them up for you with a buy it now on Ebay and if you use Microsoft Live there is a discount you get for using it. I used it and got a 20% discount on a buy it now for a new pool pump. Saved me close to $50 bux.

I just want toget as much as I can for them. I wondered if you got a chance to look at Haley's site? Sad isn't it? hcaringbridge.org/haleycarter.
