I knew this concert would sell-out. And the Cincinnati one too. Ohio has a tremendous Journey fanbase. Journey could've added a Columbus show and sold that one out too ......

Actually the midweat is the majority of Journey fanbase dating back to the late 70's. Chicago and Detroit were Journey 2nd and 3rd homes. Sellout shows all the time Chicago and Detroit should be a sellout also.

Dallas has a good fanbase also. They sold out a Sunday night show here at a venue that holds over 20,000. Not bad.

I remember one time SA told me his 2 favorite states to play were Ohio and Texas because they had such great fans.

Sometimes seats get released closer too, because of promoters giving them back, don't they? Or maybe not if sold out. I have no idea.

That happens. If you are not satisfied for tickets the day of sale, go on Ticketmaster the day of the show, and you will make yourself quite happy!

Jimi Jamison loves to play in Cleveland too. I think the Survivor group have said that they love to play in the Cleveland/Akron/Canton area.

I was just at the Blossom Music Center tonight to see the Cleveland pops Orchestra, and the conductor who is from NJ originally commented on how he loves Cleveland and the music fans here.

I remember the Damn Yankees band used to say that Cleveland is their #1 favorite city to play in.

Very true!

But just in case anyone is not aware of this, the song "Cleveland Rocks" existed long before the Drew Carey Show used it as it's theme song. The song was written and first performed by British born and raised Ian Hunter back in 1979 due to his love of the city of Cleveland.

The Michael Stanley song "My Town" is also about Cleveland.

The first theme song used by the Drew Carey Show was called "Moon Over Parma." Parma is Cleveland's largest suburb, and I think 7th largest city in Ohio on it's own.

I'm glad I had the good foresight to get my Cleveland Journey tix well ahead of time. 8)

I KNEW this would happen. I was there back in '05 when it was an evening with Journey and Blossom was packed more than I'd ever seen it for any show.

That's funny LuvsAugeri Steve also told us that Illinios and Michigan were his favoritie states to play in, They love the diehard fans. Those 2 states especially the cities of Chicago and Detroit adopted Journey as there own in the early years and has continued. Augeri is a good politician.

Yeah, every time I've read where some jackass has tried to claim that Journey are no longer relevant and that they only get crowds of a few thousand fans at their shows I've had to laugh. Journey have been selling 15 to 20 thousand tickets to each show that they've played in the Cleveland area for a number of years now.

Also, people like to talk trash on Journey playing at county fairs every now and then... I've never seen a more packed county fair than Crawford County Fair when Journey played in 2004... probably one of the best shows I've ever seen... was pouring rain that year and thunder and lightning and everything... right as they were opening with "Be Good To Yourself"... was probably one of the coolest things I've ever witnessed. Also, you can get damn close at those shows for not too much money. But sadly, I guess they won't be making any fair stops anytime soon.

The very moment Cheap Trick goes on the day of the show the scalpers will be unloading their tickets for cost. If you're impatient and paranoid and can't wait til then I'm pretty sure I have 2 that can be purchased for cost. Waiting back on an email.

Either way, lmk if ya come up with 'em. I was trying to hook up my bud and his wife also, but they live in effing Ohio so they can visit the scalper dudes.
