actually my significant other says that Arnel sounds more like Sting, Bon Jovi, JJ, and Russell Hitchcock. this was even before I let her listen to Arnel singing those covers by those singers. her jaw dropped when she saw him sing the Roxanne cover. btw, my significant other is a Sting fan. her listening skills are really uncanny to determine such minute details. 8)

artists...so I should stop listening to sound-alikes for a while. I have just discovered Arnel barely eight months ago...I

Hmmm just my take ...Arnel does have a lot of top singers down...but hell he was a cover band singer...But he doesn't seem to have his own sound at all.... but that's all they really wanted in the first place...... 8)

No that is not true. Arnel sounds like Arnel. He has many of the same vocals qualities as others maybe. But he still sounds like Arnel to me.

I think this is a fair assessment. just like a look-alike person, but still definitely unique. 8)
