Posted: Mon Aug 18, 2008 4:03 pmI remember that concert. {on tv}I cheered and cried through it. Unchained melodey ,was profound. He played piano and sang.I always felt he knew that would be the last time he would sing it. His voice sounded good through out,although I thought he was going to die right there. Elvis will always be the best ever. He was the first.

Same here...even though he was becoming an unsightly fat bastard at the end, his voice was still strong. Tragic.
