Couldn't help but post this pic of my little girl's first day of school. Her classroom is actually called "The Rockets", so I think I'm going to call them The ROKKETS... haha!

Thanks! She's done very well so far, and didn't even cry -- I think she was just excited to see some of her friends from day care actually made it into her class. We've been really lucky all the way around, because we were told that particular class was full for a while -- and somehow she got in, and then they transferred her best friend there as well. Her teacher was highly recommended and lives only 2 blocks from us. I see a special donation for the school coming up...

My daughter's first day of school was yesterday. She's in the 2 year old class, but she'll actually be 3 in about 6 weeks. Her birthday is just after the cutoff date. She went to school three days a week last year, but this year, she's going all five.

She also started dance class yesterday, which will be once a week. Big day for my (not so little) little girl.

My daughter started the 1st day of 7th grade yesterday. Only to be let out today for the tropical storm.. of course she was pleased.

Great pic Rip! First day is always worse on the parents than the child. My daughter just graduated in June.......they grow up soooo fast!

You have a beautiful family Rip! Today, while putting away clutter, I found pictures of my son in school when he was in kindergarten, with his little sister (she tagged along everytime we did our volunteer hours at lunchtime, which was required) and made me sit down and think about how fast they indeed grow up. He will be in 8th grade and his sister in 6th come Aug. 25. How time flies!

I remember my son's first day of school like it was yesterday. Hold on to this memory because she'll be all grown up on you before you know it. My son will be a senior in high school. I can't believe how fast time went once he started school.
