Not bad....he plays the "notes" well in most places.....BUT....the "feel" is not there.....it is the difference between a guitar player, and a GUITAR PLAYER....Neal is in that top .0001%......many guys try to cover him, but I have never, ever, heard a guy match his vibe, tone and feel on his stuff....never....

Well, you can't really tell that from these clips. He's playing along to the song and you could say that about just about anyone doing that. The real test would be to hear him playing those by himself.

Maybe Neal can just link these on to his site since he hasn't come back to do his "teaching."

Those are cool!!

I quite enjoyed those. That LP he's got has a KILLER tone. I think Neal would approve.

Thanks man.....it will be done by November.....I hope it is released beginning of 09.....

Has a Gabriel, Genesis, Toto flair this time.....I wanted to get away from the straight ahead predictable template of the first album.....lots of twists and Pat Mastelotto's drums and percussion are the finest of his career.....

Can't wait for ya to hear it.......JV
