went an saw Tropic Thunder.. was just ok.. very vulgar language.. 4 or 5 very funny scenes..

when i was a kid.. 7 or 8 .. i was into DC big time.. my friends hated DC.. turned me onto Marvel ..

to this day i miss the 70s Avengers, and all the What If's!!!

My appendix broke when I was around 10 years old keeping me in Hospital for 6 weeks during the summer. My sympathetic nurses turned my bed into a pop tent and would give me any comics they could scrounge. here are two of my favorites series.

as a youngster i used to watch the old black and white serials.. CA drove a green 4 door sedan .. was GREAT!!

so a few years ago .. i priced it .. its worth $4............hahhahaha.. geesh .. i always thought those

special order big mags would be collectors items..

My mom still has the original my dad bought me when it came out, along with all my other comics and books from my youth.

Hell, comic books helped me learn some big words at a young age, ahead of pretty much everyone else in my class. I think I probably mentioned gamma radiation and my teacher looked at me funny. :lol:

It really is becoming a lost art to the younger people now. The same goes for good old fashioned action figures. Nothing digital, nor computer related......just some good ol' GI Joes, Transformers, Thundercats, Marvel and DC characters to do battle. Let the imagination run wild!

i love both DC and Marvel, my sentimental favorite are spidey and supes, i only regret that how they can make a really ass-kicking superman movie...
