I hate to tell you this, but he DOES have ideas. Good ones, for the most part.

You Republican hatemongers and your character assassinations...good luck to you.

No-one is going to buy into that shit come election time.

Beefaroni can burn your tongue if you're not careful. Better to go with the Spaghetti-O's.

You need help if you consider "TOGA! TOGA! TOGA!" character assassination.

Regardless, his ideas are really nothing new.

Obama's speech- same old statist, socialist garbage presented with a slightly hipper rap and fireworks

If enjoyed on nothing but its merits as a work of sheer political stagecraft, that was a damn fine speech.

He has amped up the FDR 2.0 populist rhetoric.
Huckabee and Edwards both employed it to varying degrees of effect.

Try my favorite for a special occasion, 2004 Penfold's Shiraz (Bin 128). Nicely priced for the flavor.

Obama's speech was well-delivered, in my opinion. However, looking back at some of the replays that I've seen over the last two days, he looked really angry, which is something he's managed not to do up until this point. I think he's beginning to show some cracks.
