I would have never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER guessed this record would be doing this well, this far out from the release date.

Total sales to date: 854,336 CDs sold to date.

This is a drop of only 362 albums sold from last week to this week. For four straight weeks, they have sold numbers in the narrow range between 12,968 to 13,438 albums per week. Very consistent.

Journey needs to sell 14,556 albums each week for the next 5 weeks for the album to go platinum. The total sales figures are (likely) slightly under-reported, so they may be closer to platinum status than what I've reported here.

At this rate, Journey will cross the 900,000 threshold in 1-2 weeks -- the home-stretch. :D

even if your a it really only 400,000 units sold person.
for a band of this type, to have a true gold cd in this day and age with virtually no mainstream rock airplay
is amazing

"After All These Years" is now "Going For Adds" at HOT AC stations. If it catches on there, it will definitely drive up sales of the CD!!
