So far, to date, Journey has sold 878,172 CDs from the 'Revelation' album ......
Next week, they'll come close to the 900,000 mark. With 60,914 more albums sold (x 2 CDs per album), they'll cross the finish line to certified platinum status ......
(Does anybody have the earlier HDD charts from today and yesterday? ..... )

They hadn't charted in the top 50 until Walmart put their numbers in.

Amazing since there is absolutely nothing being played on the radio and concertgoers use the introduction of a new song as a signal to take a piss. More amazing is the money Sony's making off the resurgence of the Greatest hits CD, 15 Million and counting.

They are in decline, but it is a very slow decline. Still respectable that Journey has stuck it out this long!

I agree that IF Joureny are concerned about further CD sales (which they might not be since they got paid up front), they need to make an appearance or two, release another single, and maybe some sort of video...

AATY is being played now more than ever in the AC format and like or not that format sells a lot of records and targets Wal-mart shoppers. Mainstream radio is never gonna play Journey again and neither is MTV or VH1. And the TV formats do not matter. VH1 played the hell out of Brooke Hogan's shit music video and song and it was the number one video on the channel for the two weeks and the single and album didn't sell anything. New Kids on the block have been played a little on mainstream radio and a buttload on VH1 for weeks and they just debuted with less albums sold than Journey and will fall like a rock from here. They will be below Journey on the charts in 5 weeks or less.

I have a feeling that they're going to end this tour in early October, give everyone a few well desrved weeks off, and then come back with a nice media campaign and tour to follow.

AATY is being added like
crazy. That's a
huge amount of plays added since last week.

When do they head over to Asia again and how many countries will they be visiting? I know that the Philippines(obviously) and Japan have been confirmed....

The Pacific Rim leg of the tour is slated for March as of right now. I believe it will include The Phillipines, Japan, Hong Kong (China) and Australia.

I can't wait to hear the ruckus if they treat Andrew like Perry treated Cain on the FTOLSM tour. "You can't come in sir." LOL
