The I'm Sorry Thread

Postby Rhiannon » Thu Sep 11, 2008 3:20 am

This is everyone's chance to take the high road and apologize for being a dick/prick/bitch/asshole/meanie/judgmental fool toward any member of the band. Journey has made me a better person!

I don't care who you are... we're all sinners. Be it against whomever in the band (past and present). It's good for the soul, ya know.

I'll begin.

Jonathan Cain: I'm sorry for screaming "Friga" at concerts to get your attention. Disrespectful. I'll say "Cain" next time, promise. However, I will never stop laughing about the paint smock, as I am sure you won't either.

Neal Schon: Sorry for poking fun at your face sometimes. I don't really care what work you may or may not have had done. Save some face, you know you've only got one... right?

Ross Valory: Sorry for the "you don't look a day over dirt" old jokes. But you know I love ya (see avatar, duh).

Steve Perry: I'm sorry for nothing. My high school drama teacher really does look like you. But I hope you're having a nice day!

...That about covers it. ...NEXT? 8)

I'm sorry to Steve Perry that he ever got himself mixed up with this group of misfits

LOL! Sorry Rhi.. I had to laugh. Your apology to Jon reminds of the FL show when we were sitting at the bar. I was rather "happy" and Jon came down and I almost screamed "HEY FRIGA!" at him. Guess I should apologize too... but umm.. yeah! :P

Even though you were just doing it last Saturday?

Ok.

Jon Cain: sorry about that avatar a couple months ago. I'll break the hosting link.

Neal Schon: I'll happily apologize for my viciousness when you apologize for being a prickhole in 1987 at the NAMM convention in Chicago.

Ross Valory: I'm sorry for laughing at all Rhi's jokes and for the once or twice I joined in. You're a swell guy, Ross, and I'd love to meet you.

Deen Castro: I'm sorry that you have a long name and I'm lazy. Other than that I haven't said anything about you except that you're an awesome drummer.

Steve Augeri: I called you faux-steve a long time ago (not here). That was just absolutely sucky of me and I didn't know any better. You're a class A guy and it was a pleasure to meet you.

JSS: I'm sorry it took me a couple months to get on board but I did and you rock.

Steve Perry: I didn't do crap to you and you're awesome. I'm sorry you haven't found me yet.

Melissa - wow! You bear an uncanny resemblance to my beloved Tori Amos!
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

I apologize on my Sistah Debbie's behalf for telling Jon to his face that Turn Down the World Tonight would have been a great song if only it didn't have lyrics. :)

Oh all right ... I apologize for wearing a shirt with a giant Steve A picture on it to a show where JSS was singing. And for all the stomping, flouncing, and hair tossing that went along with said shirt. I was an ass, and I'm sorry. Though Deb is still laughing at me two years later, so entertainment value might mitigate the wrong somewhat.

Good job Rhi. Someone here rose up. I think others should join in as well. I'm a little disappointed in others for not coming forward and being a better person. Cleanse your soul.

I really do feel bad about the "Friga" things. NoMoJo(kes). At least not about that. To take a phrase from Linda, I was being an ass. 8)

I can't speak for anyone else, but for some of us (me) it didn't take another person to make us "a better person" . I feel pretty good about the way I treat people. Now, if you'd like me to cleanse my soul about other sins I may have committed, that will require a new thread and possibly a confessional.................

Go back a year or two. You've been good lately. There are no time constraints, I'm sure you said something ignorant awhile ago. Think.
